I have a B.Sc. (Honours) in Psychology and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Toronto. Since graduation, I have continued my education and received training in various modalities. In the fall of 2010, I started training in psychoanalysis with the Toronto Institute of Contemporary Psychoanalysis. Other modalities I use are Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (trained in levels 1 & 2) and Emotion Focused Therapy for individuals and couples.

Most recently I worked as a Personal Counsellor/Therapist at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. I have also worked as a Counsellor at the Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence Care Centre at Sunnybrook and Women's College Health Sciences Centre, as Assault Counsellor & Educator at the University of Toronto, and as a Counsellor/Psychotherapist with Counselling and Learning Skills Services at the University of Toronto.

I am a professional member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers, the Ontario Association of Social Work, the EMDR Association of Canada, and the American Psychological Association.
